Stem won't open my game

Hello, I'm having trouble with opening games for 4 hours, I opened lies of P but my controller disconnect so i close the game and try reopening it again but it failed and steam start checking for updates, no error then i tried opening other games but i had the same error, someone know how to fix it? English is not my first language so of there are some grammatical error I'm sorry
