Recommended Trails in Early June?

My wife and I will be visiting the first week of June and understand higher altitude trails (and even some lower) may still be covered in snow.

We’re moderate hikers - comfortable with 8-10 miles round trip. What trails would be most recommended during this time of year for a fun, but not overly strenuous hike?

Bonus round: What gear/clothing would you recommend?
