Miata seat height

I just got a new to me nb and installed a roll bar the other day. I’m 6’3 with not a super long torso so I nearly fit. if I sit how I drive my head doesn’t touch the roll bar but if I sit straight up it does. I’m changing the interior to black anyways so the seats eventually are going to go. would no slider bucket seats make me sit lower or should I go with black seats with the foam cut. don’t wanna spend 2k on a single bucket seat so please keep that in mind before suggesting tillet 😭
