How does Ticket Taker/the circus choose who to give pink tickets to?

I believe they are given to whoever is good looking.

Specifically because of the parallels with Columbina. On one of my other posts I noticed the pink ticket had angel wings on it which was similar to Columbina with the obvious pink and angel stuff. I think I also said that whoever got it and was kidnapped had the option decided by the main five to be relocated or devoured if none of them were interested in the person (could that be where fools come from?). In the flashback Columbina was originally going to be relocated as stated by the circus humans if she hadn't have been killed and eaten so there's some similarity here.

If we never helped Pierrot, we would then be kidnapped after using the pink ticket like I just mentioned. When we are, Ticker Taker mentions we are pretty (idk if there's a gender alternative thing for this I'm just saying this one cos I'm a girl). I could be delusional but thats an odd thing to point out to me if i think about it.Yknow who else was pretty? Columbina was mentioned to be pretty in the mirror house flashback. So would it fit that the people chosen for the pink ticket had to be pretty to be picked?

If this is delusional or a confirmed fact or something extremely obvious feel free to throw tomatoes and I'll shut up.

But if not then am I onto something?

This is either a theory or an obvious thing just being said
