Bug in Canine Cusine quest/soft lock

I've got a really annoying soft lock in the Canine Cusine anyone else run into this?, i grabbed the ingredients and the purple fruit under chesire cat's tree to make the donut for Lady and i think i may have accidentally cooked it without using more than one peanut or egg but either way the strange purple donut is now in my inventory but i cannot do anything with it, no options to give it to Lady and i have an objective to cook the doggy donut which i can't do since i now no longer have the purple fruit, this really sucks, anyone else encounter this bug and have anyway of fixing it? i guess my best bet is to wait for a fix as i will not reset the whole game as that's far too much progress lost :( i'm not sure why the game can't just have an option to give Lady the donut since it's in my inventory but i'm guessing the game is just bugged to the point of thinking i still haven't cooked the donut because i didn't use all the ingredients so now i am stuck :( has this been reported to the dev's? i will be doing so myself
