A couple of weeks ago I posted about [MEO - a markdown editor for VS Code with a live/source toggle](https://www.reddit.com/r/vscode/comments/1ray1gp/meo_a_markdown_editor_for_vs_code_with_livesource/).

The response was great with 470+ upvotes and 100+ stars on GiHub. It motivated me to keep working on it and ship more features.

Here's what's landed since then:

* **Git visualisations** \- added/modified line indicators with a toggle, plus inline git blame
* **GitHub Copilot support** \- MEO recognizes Copilot changes and streamlines review process
* **Vim mode** \- optional Vim keybindings for source mode, enable in settings
* **LaTeX math rendering** \- inline and block math in live mode
* **Image pasting** \- with auto saving to assets/ folder
* **Footnotes and GitHub alerts** \- `[!NOTE]`, `[!WARNING]` etc. render correctly
* **Emoji support** \- `:rocket:` style shortcodes rendered in live mode
* **Collapsible** `<details>` **blocks** \- with summary widget
* `<kbd>` **tag rendering** \- keyboard shortcuts styled as keys in live mode
* **File export** \- to HTML or PDF
* **Themes** \- Ability to change key colors, fonts, and line height
* **Find/Replace upgrades** \- whole word and case sensitivity options
* `.mdc` **/** `.mdx` **file support**
* **Frontmatter**
* **Performance and stability improvements** \- faster load, better auto-save, webview refactored to TypeScript
