Fuel surcharges coming?
Most cruise lines' small print (in the contract of carriage) retain the right to impose fuel surcharges of roughly $9–$10 USD per person, per day, if oil prices exceed specific thresholds (typically $65–$70 per barrel).
These fees can be legally added to existing bookings, even if paid in full.
Has anyone received notice that they will be charged a fuel surcharge ... yet?
And how many think this may happen any day now??! :-(
