"Ask Google about previous tab" suddenly showing up in search bar

I noticed with the latest Chrome update when I click in the search bar (or "Omnibox" whatever it's called) at the bottom of the search suggestions there is a plus sign with the text "Ask Google about previous tab" next to it. I have no idea what it is but I'm done with all the AI stuff being rammed down my throat. I googled trying to find out what it even does and am turning up nothing. I searched in chrome://flags and found nothing referring to that, I do have all the AI options turned off in the Chrome flags page. Anyone else seeing this and if so do you now how to get rid of it? I'm on desktop/Windows 10. Thanks.
