My bf won’t stop watching Family Guy.

I know this is gonna sound extremely stupid, but he won’t stop. We hangout like every week and whenever we go to his room, doesn’t matter if we are cuddling, kissing, on our phones, doing “stuff” (ifykyk), family guy is always on. I’ve told him that it’s gotten to a point, even when we FaceTime he has family guy on. He uses the excuse that it’s for background noise, but why would you need to hear Peter griffin screaming while doing it?!?! Then once I tried to turn it off and he got mad at me and told me to turn it back on. I can’t deal with it anymore!!!
