guys is this normal??

so basically me ( 14M )and my sister ( twins, both 14 yrs ) still sleep in the same room and bunk beds, is this normal?? because i've seen in my friend's homes that siblings have seperate rooms, beds etc. even younger ones like <10 yrs and etc. can y'all help me understand if this is normal and if its not why do my parents make us stay in the same room?
