My hot take on the "final top 1"

While I don't think there will ever be a true hardest level, I believe Silent Circles is gonna be one of the final levels players will have motivation to beat before things become way too obscure (as if this wasn't already), while having the potential to get a star rate.

It wouldn't be the unnerfed version for sure. The spam would definitely get a nerf, while the rest may be buffed a little for compensation. The level would also need to work on lower FPS, at least 240. The world record is past 10 spikes already and I believe the skill in spamming will only increase, making this level more and more accessible to future top players.

Secondly, RobTop seems to have developed a soft spot for iconic levels since the last year or so, judging by the recent insane rate waves. This level is definitely the most influential impossible level, alongside the already beaten and rated Silent Club and Silent Clubstep and arguably the most popular out of any, the original having almost 3 million downloads, as well as some copies reaching a million (one auto version has even more than the original) and inspired many of the impossible wave levels we have today. If the two mentioned Silent levels got rated even without deco or heavy balancing, this would've gotten it too simply for its legendary status. No other level of its kind is important enough to be seen this way.

Some legendary levels like the old Slaughterhouse could potentially get a rate as well, but I am personally not sure if RobTop would ever grant a level like that a rate. There has to be a certain limit for this "status" factor, no matter what mood he will currently have while rating levels. Even levels that have a less obscure gameplay, but have hundreds of 240 or higher frame perfects may have a bad time getting that sweet star.

My last point would be its lack of accessibility. Even if "conventional" levels reach the difficulty of Silent Circles, most players who are not spam champions will simply fear this level or won't have the motivation to play the second half. Sure, we've got stuff like Nullscapes or Boobawamba which nobody wanted to play for similar reasons, or Avernus for its controversial hitboxes at the time, but Silent Circles would be on a whole different level even for the future top levels.

My whole point is that many people seem to underestimate the potential of future top play (assuming the game won't die in the upcoming years) and don't consider the fact that RobTop can rate the most obscure bulls*it levels if he feels like it. In this case, Silent Circles is a level I could see getting a star rate if it were verified today.

Idk when this would ever happen, but I doubt it would even be this decade, this level is simply out of reach for anybody today. But seeing how many things are being achieved almost regularly, especially by the spam players, I have no doubt it will at least be "humanly possible" one day (with the necessary nerfs).

TLDR: With the right nerfs, it could become humanly possible as the spam players will only get better. Judging from recent Robtop's rates, it's too iconic to not be rated, just like Silent Club and Silent Clubstep, which have gotten a star already. This would never be the case for any similar levels to it, while harder impossible levels that are as iconic may be way too extreme already to even be considered. Silent Circles wouldn't be as accessible as some more "conventional" top levels in the future, so almost nobody would play it.
