Pet Insurance

Hello! We’ll be getting our first Cav puppy in May and we’d definitely like to start pet insurance right away. We found a great breeder but know health issues are still likely in this breed. Has anyone had great experiences with a pet insurance brand? We had a previous dog on MetLife and used their preventative benefits and such and it was fine but I’ve heard Trupanion and some other companies mentioned here and would love first hand experience.

We live in Kansas and it would be a brand new puppy with (I assume) no preexisting conditions. Thanks!
