Why does every fitness instagram content strategy end up looking exactly the same
Scroll through fitness instagram and tell me you can tell apart more than like three accounts without reading the usernames. Same gym mirrors, same angles, same motivational captions with slightly different wording. I look at my own page and realize I'm guilty of the exact same thing.
The accounts that actually pop have this lifestyle element woven in, cool locations, travel mixed in with training, aesthetic variety that gives you a reason to keep scrolling. But how do you produce that when you genuinely train at the same gym six days a week and don't have the budget to fly somewhere photogenic every month?
I've been mixing in canva for more interesting thumbnails and quote graphics, plus foxy ai for some location variety on my promo posts, which helps the feed not look so monotonous. But the core problem is real, fitness exists in a super narrow visual lane and getting out of it without losing the fitness audience is this weird creative puzzle nobody seems to have a good answer for.
