New Hermes Bags Debut
Hermes held their Women's Autumn/Winter show in Paris Saturday. Six new bags debuted. I have some favorites, but would be interested in hearing which you love.
First up is the Flap Shoulder Bag. It has a boxy shape and is structured. It has two main compartments that appear accordian-like on the sides and bottom. The samples are all in box calf leather in many colors, but I'm particularly fond of the dark blue. Two-tone electrum hardware is used to keep the flap secured to the bag.
Micro Picotins debuted in polished box calfskin with locks clad in matching leather.
A Medor Watch Clutch was introduced, again in box calfskin. The Medor hardware lifts to reveal a hidden watch on the top.
New to the "To Go" line is a Studded Bag again in box calf leather.
Zip Top Bag that appears to be inspired by the Bolide.
East-West Handheld bag has a Clou de Selle-engraved metal button as a closure on top. The additional handle appears to be an alternative carry option.
Some new accessories were also introduced. My favorite being this new electrum chain.
A "raincoat covering" for a Kelly Bag and a similar version also debuted for the Bolide.
So what do you think? Which were your favorites?
