Considering getting a divorce
I got married at about 23, me and this woman got married pretty quickly and now I’m starting to consider maybe I made a mistake. I’m 26 now, I loved her at one point, but for a long time now she’s been complaining to me about the future and me not doing things that live up to her expectations. Im currently working and going to school and pretty stressed about building my life all the while she’s complaining about me not taking on certain responsibilities that I guess a married man should be concerned with. I never really thought about the kinds of responsibilities being married could bring, I kind of just did it. Why I did I don’t know. I was just blindly making this decision, maybe because I had gotten out of a relationship about a year prior which ended pretty roughly, with my ex cheating and what not, and I wanted to further myself from that situation and considered this would get me as far from that version of myself that I could. I want to focus on my life but this woman I’m married to has me stressed about things that I’m not too sure Im even ready for or even want. She’s a great woman and a great wife, I just don’t think I’m ready or even want to be a married man ever again after seeing the type of responsibility and expectations you have to keep up with. Maybe one day once I’m established in my career and I have my own things but I just think I got into this way to early, but I’m afraid that if I let her go I’ll regret it too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
