Tesla Supercharger with Magic Dock

I noticed Buc-ee's has Tesla chargers that say that are CCS1 compatible with the Magic Dock. I plan to get the official adapter anyway, but in the meantime is it possible to use those without any extra parts? Do I still need the plastic piece that you have to insert with the adapter to use the Magic Dock, or can it work with Ariya as is? I want to take a 300 Mile trip and there is a Buc-ee's in the middle that has the Magic Dock chargers.
