Tips for an NY-style "orange pizza"?

Where I live in the Midwest NY style pizza is oddly rare, making Domino's NY crust one of the few options. The thing about a lot of NYC pizza though is it is orange from the cheese and red sauce mingling, and I'm wondering how to best recreate that in my Domino's order.

NY crust, extra cheese? Extra sauce?

(I thought I heard someone say here that extra cheese does nothing if you have 0 toppings, but perhaps they were wrong.)
