Need advice with plant!

I have a bean that has a pattern laserd into it, it supposed to grow on a leaf when it grows. Ive had it for a year now in a bag. just a bean in a dry bad with other beans. How can i support this bean through its life? i put it in a wet paper towel . so what next? want it to be super happy! should i plant with other beans? dunno i need help.
