Do I really need guest list for King West? Or can we wing it?

Being forced into planning a night out on King West for a bachelorette Saturday. None of us are from Toronto. Where I’m from guest list isn’t a thing, and I know the bar owners to I just don’t worry. Can you wing a night out in this area or is the guest list actually needed?
