(Trans) Tried to follow advice given to me a few days ago, no success at all.

my measurements for the calculator: LUB: 44" SUB: 43" TUB: 40" SB: 46" LeB: 48" LyB: 46"

This resulted in a 42 C, which several commenters confirmed would probably work. Today I hit the shop (Torrid) and tried on several bras at or around that size, trying 42-46 band size in both B and C cups. No matter which band I tried it was very difficult to get clasped around me (the smallest was impossible to take off) and I was able to fill neither cup size, in fact they very awkwardly jut out of me, and visually I take up maybe half of the cup and there's easily an inch or more of air.

I ran out of sizes to try and gave up.

Nobody in the store spoke to me and I didn't feel particularly comfortable trying to reach out to them.
