Crystal used to attract spirits

What is the best crystal for communicating with spirits, or for drawing them closer? Like, what do mediums usually use? I'm also curious if there are crystals that attract only negative spirits, others that attract only positive ones, and some that attract both. I want to be careful and avoid any that might attract negative spirits
