I've started to fear for my sister.

NSFWCONTENT WARNING: SUICIDE/SELF HARM

So hi, 16 M here. My sister, also 16, has been getting worse lately. Now, let me tell you where it all began first! So, as children, our parents would argue pretty badly. Loud, but really silent afterwards. Now, not to give you whiplash, cause this part is pretty important later on in the story, but, my sister and I were 10 at the time, and every kid had really free access to the internet. Everyone of us, like predicted, took advantage of that, my sister especially since she was autistic and very curious. However, this would make some problems arise later in life, but more on that soon, and instead back to the main. So, parents, fighting. It was extremely worrying for all of us, my sister especially since she'd consumed a lot of content regarding abuse, and it made her sit outside their bedroom door most of the times they'd scream, hoping none of them would get hurt. It ended in them breaking up, though we still all lived together. The breakup effected us all, I think it even hurt me the most in a way, since I'd never seen it coming unlike the others. After that, her mental health deteriorated significantly, to the point she would make clear attempts of offing herself, thankfully not exactly knowing how though, but not eating anything seemed to be easier for her to do, though not any better. Now, this part is blurry, since it's not from my perspective, but a thing she'd told me about. To explain, our mother had run away with us a while after the breakup, though us others were never in on the conversation my two siblings and mother had before it all went down. She said it happened somewhat like this: They were all baking together and just talking, she had no idea how the topic came up, but she blurted out "I don't feel safe with dad", and it domino'd into everyone breaking out into tears, our mother saying "I know, we don't either" and just hugging eachother. And that is approximately how the idea popped up in her head. Now, after that (btw, the full story is needed to fully understand the extent of how bad everything has gotten) we lived with our cousins and the grandparents on my mother's side here and there, throughout that our dad would continue to try and buy us back and said some pretty nasty things to our mother via text, though my sister was the only one who would notice it happening. After a while, me and my brother were the only ones who did get successfully bought back by our father, starting to live with him weekly based, though it took a while to get back my sister, so he stalked her buss to school and made sure she couldn't go anywhere so they had to talk, which then lead to her actually going back with us. Now, why she did go back without a fight is because she can't handle saying what she truly feels in front of the person, especially when cornered like that. Over the years that we lived with him, she noticably got worse and worse, she almost got so bad she would go back to how she was like before, depressed and eating bad. One time, she got her weight checked on, and she'd been the same weight during two visits a month apart, no change, which scared her immensely. She did have to start eating better, though not glad with seeing her stomach get bigger. Even if our mom would tell her how pretty she looked, she never believed her, not even anyone else at that. It got so bad at dads place that she finally cracked one day and stayed at moms place after mom week had already passed. It took a year for all the family drama to finally pass, but I know she's still hurting, everything that's happened in her life has shaped her mind into something incredibly negative. Not trusting anyone's well wishes, incredibly sensitive to yelling, daddy issues, anger problems... Now, the anger problems is something she hates about herself, our father was bipolar, so when she's in that state, she almost feels like him, which only drags her further down into the pain. When she's sad, she bites and scratches herself, It's not unnoticeable either, she makes it painful cause she feels her pain is a burden to everyone around her, even if it was someone else who made the problem happen. I'm just seriously afraid of how this will affect her in the future, cause the therapy has never really worked, even if there's small progress, the big problems aren't moving an inch.

So, that's the end of this rant. I'm so sorry it was this long, but context was needed to understand the absurdity. (Also, sorry if it was really all over the place, my writing is just kind of like that sometimes)
