Looking for Honest Insight on Diversity in Columbus🤔

Hi everyone. I’ve been doing a lot of research on the Columbus area and watching perspectives online, but I’d really like to hear honest experiences from people who actually live there.

I’m a Black woman and my daughter is biracial. My late husband was white, and I’ve dated outside my race before AND I’m not saying that’s what I strictly look for lol I’m just sharing a little context about my life.

One thing I’m really trying to understand is what the social dynamic is like in Columbus?? Trust me I know no place is perfect, but I’m hoping to find somewhere where I won’t feel out of place.

I’m currently living in the South, and the town I’m in now is pretty balanced almost a 50/50 mix of Black and white residents so that’s the kind of environment I’m used to and hoping to find something similar.

Also, I’d appreciate honesty if I lived in one area that felt diverse, would I start to feel out of place once I left that neighborhood and went to other parts of the city? lol Thanks 🌹🌺🌸
