Planning help

Ok, so I am planning out an automation system. It will have 6 switches, 5 motion detectors, 4 cameras, 1 thermostat and temp sensor, the camera are ip based, but on a separate Wi-Fi device.

The property is larger, and fairly rural, so the issue of interference on channels is less of an issue. My home Wi-Fi is both 2.4 and 5 mhtz.

My debate here is which protocol to go with?

Zigbee transmission on 2.4, so it could interfere with my computer wifi.

Z Wave won't have that issue, but it is more expensive and will likely have interference from the walls.

Any thoughts on what to do here?

Have not bought anything yet, and I want to avoid run arounds. Cheap is better, but buying two because once broke is not a good idea. Might as well get quality.
