Does anybody know how long an Exequatur procedure takes in Luxembourg?

Ask Luxembourg :Moien:

An Exequatur procedure is the legal process by which a foreign court / legal judgment is officially recognized and made enforceable in another country. In Luxembourg, this procedure applies specifically to decisions from Non-EU countries, as EU court judgments are governed by separate European regulations. How long does it take to validate a foreign legal decision in Luxembourg? The court in Luxembourg received my documents on March 6, 2026. Has anyone done this procedure before and could you share your experience with the timelines? This is not a common procedure and I could not find a definitive answer to this question.

Thank you in advance!
