What problem does art solve?

I have a hard time marketing my work because home decor isnt a need (for some) and it doesn't necessarily solve a problem.

People buy my work when they want to give a gift to someone else or they are an art lover/like flowers.

I don't offer custom orders because it's more expensive to offer customization.

Not sure what to do here. I'm extremely talented and I know I can make it!

Any advice from the greats?
