who invented dress code?

who decided that mens suits were considered dressing up? they look stupid. why cant i wear plain joggers and a plain tshirt and a hat to an interview and be considered for a serious job? maybe leave the milf hunter tee and grinch pajama pants at home. honestly dont even go to the grocery store dressed like that you slob. but i can dress simple and respectable and not have to have a tie or even a collar. i gotta have a collar to golf or eat nice?? seems insane to me.
