Is Sports Content Over Saturated?

My niche is fitness with a dash of sports, but lately more and more of my content is becoming more sporty. I feel like the sports niche has become oversaturated by people trying to be the next ESPN shock jock. What do you think? Do you view sports and fitness content on YouTube?
