RFI Requested - Need Advice

Partner visas

I would like to hear some advice, received my first RFI today.

Subclass 300 (Prospective Marriage Visa)

DOL: September 2025

RFI: 10th March 2026

Applicant : Singaporean

Sponsor: Aussie

They are requesting for NOIM.

For context, my partner and I will register our marriage first before the big wedding ceremony.

Hence that means we currently dont have NOIM. We would like to engage / book a celebrant only after the visa has been approved so we know the timeline better and can fixed a date rather than having to update/ change the form multiple times if the visa has not been approved within the timeline that we input the date in the form.

We know that we are able to book a celebrant at least month before the wedding hence we are not concerned. We have friends that are celebrant so we're not worried whether we can't find one.

I have submitted a joint statement explaining the above of why we don't have NOIM as well as mentioning again that we intend to register the marriage first before the ceremony. This was mentioned in the initial application - it seems they have missed it. I also added that we already have a Pre-Wedding shoot that was already paid and booked and showed screenshot of it and the contract.

I submitted it all today, the same day they request.

Any advice from migration officer whether that can be accepted and the timeline of getting the application looked at again be quicker since I submitted the requested documents on the same day?

Thank you!
