Mercor is hiring Language & AI Generalists for a freelance remote project supporting leading AI research labs.

You will help train and evaluate advanced AI systems by working with language, text, and audio data. This includes reviewing AI responses, evaluating language quality, and helping improve multilingual AI performance.

This project is ideal for bilingual speakers, linguists, translators, and language experts interested in contributing to next-generation AI systems.

Pay: $25 – $170 per hour (depending on role and experience)

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Fluency in English plus another language
• Strong reading, writing, or listening skills in the target language
• Background in linguistics, translation, writing, research, or content evaluation is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines
