Unsolicited friend requests

Hey! No shame on anyone who does this - but sometimes I get unprompted friend requests from users I’ve never talked to before.

It’s both new and old accounts. I don’t get any messages from the user, explaining why they want to be friends/allies, and my inbox is open for everyone.

Anyone here who does something like this? I would love to hear your reasoning.

I personally only have myself as my friend and then one other user, since I don’t have a reason to add friends for now.
