anyone else mod their 250 in “phases” instead of doing it all at once?

Been hanging around this sub long enough to know the cycle… you buy the truck, tell yourself you’ll keep it stock, then you blink and you’re researching parts at 1am like it’s a second job.
At first I did the fun stuff (tires, little quality-of-life bits), but the stuff that’s actually made the truck easier to live with has been the boring bed/utility upgrades. I got tired of tossing gear back there and hoping it’s still dry (or still there) when I need it.

I finally grabbed a low-profile tonneau and it’s been one of those “why didn’t I do this sooner” mods. Not sexy, just makes the truck feel more dialed for real life.

What’s been your most underrated upgrade on your Super Duty? And for the guys who deal with real weather… what tonneaus have actually held up for you long-term?
