Spit trick
I've been on Suboxone since 2018 along with 2mg a day klonopin. Two years ago I came off of klonopin after I had relapsed from smoking Crack by checking myself into long term rehab. In rehab I caught Covid in August of 24. The headaches I got from Covid were awful and have never went away. I have been seeing Dr's and telling everyone about my awful headaches. I had days where I wanted to die. After going through a CAT scan and a ridiculous amount of ibuprofen I found no relief and convinced that I simply had long Covid. I came across a reddit post about the spit trick with Suboxone and decided with nothing left to lose that I'd give it a go. I started a week ago and haven't had a headache in a week. I went two years with a headache everyday. I never thought it was the Suboxone bc I had been on it so long before the headaches happened. My klonopin as it turns out was keeping me from getting the headaches and at the same time I got Covid. I am not going to return to klonopin but I feel like the prescribers and doctors are not talking about the Suboxone side effects enough or if at all. That I had to find out my headaches were caused by Suboxone on a reddit thread rather then my doctors is horrible. If you're on Subs and suffering from headaches I suggest looking into the spit trick. Anyway I just wanted to thank reddit users for helping me out. I was at the end of the rope.
