What “quiet” habits actually saved you money long term in India?
Not talking about extreme hacks or cutting chai forever 😅 more about small lifestyle shifts that quietly reduced expenses without feeling restrictive.
For me, the biggest difference came from simplifying routines: fixed grocery lists, walking more instead of paid fitness classes, and keeping monthly costs predictable. Even with health-related stuff (I’m currently on Yurpeak, a tirzepatide-based weight loss medication), the surprising part was how much impulse spending dropped. Fewer late-night food orders, fewer random snack runs mostly because appetite and eating routines became more stable.
Curious what low-effort habits actually worked for people here over time. Anything that made day-to-day spending feel calmer without needing to track every rupee?
