I’m a soldier and I just started school. I’m so frustrated

Trying to exist in this time is pointless. Our government is run by cannibalistic pedophiles, and we the people do nothing about it.

Rapist and predators walk free, untouched. Women who have fought so hard to be equals, once again are getting pushed back. We lost our constitutional right to abortion, what’s next?

Our democracy has become a dictatorship. Votes mean nothing when elections are rigged. However we the people still must vote.

High schoolers join the army because college is unaffordable, and get sent to fight in wars we don’t belong in.

Soldiers are sent to kill innocent people in the name of Israel, and get injured for speaking out.

Mental health means nothing in the military. Suicides come a dime a dozen, and then get swept under the rug as if their life was pointless. Nothing but a small memorial. I’ve watched soldiers beg for help, but help never comes until it’s too late.

The few students who do get into college are stuck taking meaningless classes. Not because it’ll better them for their careers, but because the schools are money hungry. The longer you’re in, the more classes you take, the more money they make.

Even in high school, we were taught how to do algebra, now how to do taxes. We were taught Shakespeare, now how to write a resume. We are set up for failure from the start.

Our entertainment is corrupt. Movies and shows with fetishized undertones. Blatant racism, but it’s okay because it’s art. Look at the people who create what you see. How many have been accused of God knows what? No one is innocent. And they shove their sins down our throat, and call it entertainment.

Industries built around trafficking, shame, and abuse. Something as simple as school pictures has been corrupted.

Everything comes in extremes. Liberals are right, conservatives are right, no one accepts both can be wrong. I’ve heard people complain some bodies are disgusting, I’ve heard others claim body positivity. No one speaks the truth, all bodies can be beautiful, but not all bodies are healthy.

The first amendment claims that America has no established religion, yet students are told to pray in public schools.

“If you forget history, you repeat it.” Yet they’re trying to minimize teaching about slavery in schools. People deny the holocaust when survivors still exist. We’re doomed to repeat it.

Propaganda surrounds us. Clothes, movies, billboards, news. Our government lies to us, and we sit there like a sick dog about to be put down. Fight.

And if you “don’t like politics ” or try to “stay out of politics”, remember.
