Interactive periodic table and chemistry utilities — feedback appreciated

Organic

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a browser-based chemistry reference tool and wanted to share it here to get feedback from people who actively study or work with chemistry.

https://periodictableonline.com

The idea was to bring together several commonly used chemistry references and utilities in one place so it’s easier to explore concepts or quickly check information while studying.

Some things included in the tool:

  • Interactive periodic table with all 118 elements and detailed properties
  • Electron configuration and Bohr model views for elements
  • Temperature slider to visualize solid, liquid, and gas states across the periodic table
  • Chemistry calculators (molarity, molar mass, ideal gas law, pH, dilution, stoichiometry, percent composition, Gibbs free energy)
  • Scientific unit converter for common chemistry and physics units
  • Material search showing elemental composition using PubChem data
  • Molecular structure visualization of compounds

The material search and molecular visualization parts are still experimental and need improvement, so feedback there would be especially helpful.

Everything runs directly in the browser and does not require login or account creation.

I’d really appreciate hearing from people here:

  • What information do you find yourself looking up most often?
  • Is there anything missing that would make this more useful?
  • Are any parts confusing or inaccurate?

Thanks for taking a look.
