Psychotherapist’s being toxic?!

So I worked at this company for almost a decade. Took time to realize I was being financially exploited. Our boss would keep saying how much social work she’s doing by teaching and training people like me. Anyone who asked for a raise would be demeaned and put down. Anyone who raised any questions or complains about anything in the system would be yelled at. For reference, my average pay was Rs. 10,000 a month! This is after taking psychotherapy sessions, doing administrative work and paying for our training.

Anyone who left the company was also targeted and demeaned. It got so bad at one point that all employees were being gaslit and manipulated. Bosses and founders started yelling at us every single day. Talking to each other wasn’t allowed. Anything we said or did was looked at from a lens of disloyalty. And when I finally resigned, I was given the worst treatment ever. Many people resigned. Many of them didn’t get their bonuses or experience letters. False accusations were made and false information was spread - defamation basically. Clients were called up and told their therapists are immoral and unethical. They were coerced to change their therapists and stay loyal to the company. Like wtf.

And these people claim to be top therapists in the country.
