Microwave door won’t open - have followed all manual instructions - Mainstays

Please note, I have seen other posts (Walmart Mainstays microwave door). This is not about the child lock feature - the door jammed when I tried to open it mid cycle. I have read all of the Mainstays instructions and tried all of the troubleshooting, along with trying to shove a spatula up the door to release the latches, as shown on a couple YouTube videos. The main issue is that I desperately need to get the food out before my apt building’s pest problem comes my way. I *never-ever* leave food out…

I received The microwave via an in-law’s deceased mother’s estate, and do not want to bother them about it. Walmart/mainstay so-called warranty support was useless over the phone yesterday.
I don’t feel safe or able to open it up….should I just give up and call this microwave toast?
