How often do married women visit their parents?

Hi, so I (29, F) just got married last December and have been visiting my parents once every ten days or so. I live with my husband’s family (MIL and BIL) in the same city as my parents. My parent’s place is also a lot closer to my workplace.

My husband thinks that I am visiting them too often but my sister who has been married for two years and has a very hectic work schedule visits them every week.

Putting up this question in order to understand what the norm on this is. Do people who live separately from their in-laws visit parents more often? How did you and your spouse work this out?
