Does anyone know the midi instrument for the bass in 8-3?

Specifically the bass in the track Event Horizon. It's the kinda buzzy bass that sounds like that synthesizer towards the end of Power by Kanye West. I want to know what that is because I want to get into making music using Reaper and I love how it sounds.
