Should I get Sigma 65mm f/2 or Lumix 24-60 f/2.8 for street/portrait given I have shorter primes?

I have adapted 28mm and 40mm lens that I'm pretty happy to focus manually. I'm planning to get either Sigma 65/2 or Lumix 24-60/2.8 as for 60-ish I'd really like some autofocus especially when wide open.

The main question:

(Maybe for S1R/Rii or Leica SL2 user) Will both/either lens have enough resolution to fully feed a 40-50mp sensor?

The secondary question:

Shall I go for a more versatile 24-60 full auto? Or is the 65/2so much better that I'd rather choose its performance over the potential convenience of 24-60? I know it's subjective but I'd like your opinions.
