Transferring USD to EURO

Hi everyone. I will transferring funds from an American bank to my French bank and I wanted to ask you all for your advice.

1. My current US bank can’t send money directly so I need to find an intermediary. Anyone use WISE or brokerage accounts before?

2. How do you deal with the conversion rates and do you have any websites or apps that help you follow the status of the USDEURO?
