Do you think MJ was disappointed...(SPOILERS for asm 23)

Do you think MJ might have been disappointed find out the man who shut the door on her wasn't actually peter? Like she was actually hoping Peter had abandoned her?

At the time of ASM #8, peter and MJ are on good terms although MJ hasn't told him about venom yet. Then she sees him get brutally beaten on the news but doesn't reach out to him until a week later because may asks her to. Then instead of asking him how's he's doing decides now's the right time to drop the venom bomb...

Then after peter(ben) shuts the door on her she does... nothing. She doesn't reach out to him again, she doesn't talk to anyone else in his life, nothing. She just seemingly accepts the fact that freaking peter b parker (AKA the guy who's literally been there for her every time she called these past few years) randomly became a jerk for no reason.

In fact , it seems like she's adamant on it being exactly that. Even though both venom and flash both say that's extremely out of character for him, MJ just chocks it up to catching him on a really bad day. But if she honestly thought that, why wouldn't she look into what happened to him? And when she's finally reunited with the real peter, and she sees his reaction she's insistent that he's faking his reaction as a "new peter avoidance technique" which is ridiculous because he sought out her and called eddie.

I don't know, am I crazy?
