Help with gateway game

I want to get my adult family interested in board games like Gloomhaven JOTL, sleeping Gods, Everdell and others. I’m having them over for dinner and need help choosing that perfect gateway game that’s quick to learn and will make them want to keep coming back for more. Any help is much appreciated!!!
