I’m officially diagnosed autistic!!!!

I’m actually feeling happy about this. I had mental health problems throughout my late teens/early 20s and sought help from a psychiatrist. It never once crossed my mind that I might be autistic, but my psychiatrist was the one who suggested it to me. I was actually very hurt at first and wondered if people thought I was weird, because how did my psychiatrist pick up on autism without formally diagnosing me??

Since then, I sought an official diagnosis with a psychologist. The more I learned about the autism, the more it made sense to me and explained so much of my struggles in life.

Well, it turns I am autistic!
