I have a professional opportunity but I don't want to do it.
I was approached to teach art for a few days. I don't want to get into details much but the people I would teach for are only a few years younger than me I honestly doubt I would be of any use. Plus, I'm currently pretty disillusioned by my job. (I had a published opportunity, that's how I got this teaching opportunity) I think I want to change my job, I'm in a changing period of my life and I wouldn't teach something I don't believe in anymore. I think it's dishonest.
The people around me are talking about seizing opportunities and all and I understand, usually I really try to do many things because living from art is hard, but this time I don't want to. And I spent a month battling with paperwork to do it but thinking about it I still don't want to do it. It's far from my home, I'm scared, I hate traveling too.
I don't know what to I should do. I don't want to disappoint but I don't feel like I can do it. I never teach before, honestly never hoped to... Still, I don't want to chicken out.
