Baldur’s Gate 3 Controller Template

Not sure why I’ve never thought to ask this question here, but I need some guidance. BG3: big game, yeah? Well, there’s obviously heaps of community controller templates available for it. My problem is that I have no idea how to utilize any of them. I’ve tried to muck my way through with zero success. Also tried to brute force guide finding on YouTube or the internet with no luck. Does anyone know of a guide to utilize any BG3 Steam Deck Controller templates? Since I’ve been unable to find anything remotely useful so far, I have to assume this is really easy to do and I’m the only idiot. If that’s the case, sorry to waste everyone’s time. This is my Hail Mary pass, so if it pans nothing then I’ll just have to accept I’m SoL.
