New to the game and accidentally ambushed a squad from a noble house. I thought they were "another mercenary company" from the quest (I have not tried to fight a friendly unit before).

Is there a way for me to reconcile with them? Or are they permanently hostile? That would be unfortunate as their villages are dead center of the map and I use them as my primary source of emergency resources when exploring.
