Assetto Corsa install and setup on Linux CachyOS (Content Manager, CSP, PURE, NO HESI ...)

Dont take this as end all be all step by step guide, this is just what worked for me. I got frustrated slinging shit to the wall and seeing what sticks, though might as well share this, maybe it will help someone.

0. Install Assetto Corsa on Steam

1. Enable proton for Assetto Corsa steam library entry:

Steam -> Library -> Assetto Corsa -> properties -> Compatibility -> Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool -> proton-cachyos-10.0

*if you are having issues Proton 9.0 is worth trying

2. Launch Assetto Corsa from Steam to generate a proton bottle

3. Install and setup Content Manager:

- Open Assetto Corsa root dir .../SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/assettocorsa/

- Move Content Manager.exe -> Assetto Corsa root dir

- Rename AssettoCorsa.exe -> AssettoCorsa_original.exe

- Rename Content Manager.exe -> AssettoCorsa.exe

5. Install windows dependancies to Assetto Corsa proton bottle (corefonts, vcrun2019, dotnet48)

*to check what is installed in the bottle you can run

6. Install missing font (segoeui.ttf"):

- Download the font: https://online-fonts.com/fonts/segoe-ui

- Extract (there should be 4 files we will need to rename them):

Segoe UI.ttf -> segoeui.ttf

Segoe UI Italic.ttf -> segoeuii.ttf

Segoe UI Bold.ttf -> segoeuib.ttf

Segoe UI Bold Italic.ttf -> segoeuiz.ttf

- Move renamed files here:

.../steamapps/compatdata/244210/pfx/drive_c/windows/Fonts/

7. Launch Assetto Corsa from Steam (This wilL open Content Manager)

8. Inside ContentManager set your Assetto Corsa root path ( IMPORTANT!!! use Z: or whatever windows path not linux path as it will not work)

*this is my path to steamlibrary that i have on a secondary drive

Z:\mnt\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa

9. Inside ContentManager Settings -> Appearance -> Disable hardware aceleration for UI

10. Install CSP (Custom Shaders Patch)

- Open CM -> Menu (3 horizontal lines icon top right) -> Install from a file... -> .zip -> Menu -> Install...

11. Install PURE

- Move 4 folders to Assetto Corsa root dir

- Settings -> CSP -> WEATHER FX -> Weather style: Pure Gamma/LCS

- Settings -> ASSETTO CORSA -> VIDEO -> Filter: pure

- Settings -> ASSETTO CORSA -> VIDEO -> Reflection frequency: One face per frame

- Drive -> single -> Weather: Pure

13. ReShade install https://github.com/kevinlekiller/reshade-steam-proton

Edit ReShade.ini -> KeyOverlay=36,0,0,0 -> KeyOverlay=45,0,0,0

12. NO HESI install and setup

- Download SRP map https://shutokorevivalproject.com/#download -> install .zip via CM

- Drive -> Online -> KUNOS -> add random server favorites (to unlock favorites tab)

- Drive -> Online -> Favorites -> [+] -> add server by ip:port
