Is this a test of the waters? My thoughts on the Heeseung news

I know there have already been hundreds of posts about this in the community, but I just wanted to share my thoughts because the whole situation feels really crazy to me. I’ve been reading through a lot of the discussions already posted, and there are so many different theories and opinions going around. Even after seeing all of that, I still feel like I’m trying to make sense of everything.

Part of me wonders if this could just be testing the waters somehow, but at the same time I honestly don’t know what to think about Heeseung leaving. Nonetheless, I’m really sad to see him go.

What confuses me the most is the timing. They have a concert in a couple of days, so why announce something like this now? It feels like it would have made more sense to wait until after the concert rather than right before it.

Another thing that makes it even more confusing is that their contract renewal isn’t until 2027, so the situation feels even more unexpected.

Maybe there’s something happening behind the scenes that we don’t know about, but right now the whole thing just feels strange to me.

I’m curious what everyone else thinks. Does the timing seem odd to you too, or am I just overthinking it?
